Our committees:
- Events and Promotions Committee: Responsible for planning and organizing community events, festivals, and promotional campaigns to attract customers and increase foot traffic to the area.
- Beautification Committee: Focused on improving the physical appearance of the commercial district, including initiatives such as street cleanups, public art installations, and landscaping projects.
- Safety and Security Committee: Works to ensure the safety and security of businesses and customers in the area, collaborates with local law enforcement, and implements crime prevention strategies.
- Marketing and Advertising Committee: Develops marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the merchant association and its members, including digital marketing, social media management, and traditional advertising channels.

The Bernal Business and Arts Alliance holds a 501(c)(6) status granted by the IRS to nonprofit business leagues, chambers of commerce, trade associations, and professional associations. These organizations prioritize advancing business interests and enhancing members’ economic conditions. Unlike 501(c)(3) charities, donations to 501(c)(6) organizations are typically not tax-deductible for donors.
